Some pieces of furniture can’t be simplified. Still, even the most simple of Casimir’s chairs and tables discern themselves from others because they are made of solid materials, applying authentic techniques and constructed in a genuine way. Seat1 and Seat2 were created in a time when cocooning was fashionable. Seat2 is a sort of daybed. Seat1 is a seat. For both, the cocooning function, sitting and lying together, is predominant. The form has thus been reduced to the absolute basics: a horizontal seat and an inclined back on top of the seat. The basic members are equally wide bars.
